The Alpha Coat
An Akris icon, the Alfa was the fashion house’s first cashmere double-face coat, created by Max Kriemler in 1978. For sourcing the fabric, Alberts`s father took him to an Italian mill that made cashmere. One meter of that cashmere weights 800 grams and cost 250 francs. This Italian mill is still one of Akris`s cashmere suppliers. Creative Director Albert Kriemler revived the design in 2023 as an homage to his father and in celebration of Akris’ 100 year anniversary.
The Duo Coat
Two coming together as one! The Duo Coat is Akris newest answer to a woman`s multitude of realities. A versatile duet of a long gilet and cropped jacket that easily can be transformed into separates. Drawing from this season's idea of layering and Akris core values of smart design, the wool double-face coat is also a nod to unpredictable weather changes and can be worn in 3 different ways.

For Fall 2025, Creative Director Albert Kriemler reimagines the Duo as a shorter, lighter trench jacket, cut from luxurious Ottoman silk. With its fluid, relaxed silhouette, the short Duo trench becomes the ultimate 24-hour wardrobe solution — refined, adaptable, and distinctly modern.
